Deslorastamine
Description
Is Desloratadine syrup which is non-sedative antihistamine and has high binding affinity for H1 receptor that reflects its high potency, used to treat all types of allergies, it has a rapid onset of action, it improves patient’s quality of life (better sleep & performance in daily activities), cause no drowsiness or sedation, it has a long duration 24 hrs. It is very effective from the 1st dose (improve pruritis score by 45% after 1st dose), effective in relieving nasal congestion, also neither food nor grapefruit juice had an effect on its bioavailability & Deslorastamine has an amazing safety profile

Desloratadine, (Desloratadine 0.5 mg/1 ml)
Mechanism of Action
Deslorastamine has antihistaminic, anti-inflammatory and decongestant effect through:
It has Selective peripheral H1 receptor antagonist activity (Anti-Allergic).
It inhibits allergic cascade at many point so, it has anti-inflammatory effect.
It stabilizes mast cell & basophil and prevent release of chemical mediators and histamine.
Indications & Uses
Deslorastamine is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with Allergic rhinitis and Urticaria
Dosage & Administration
- Children 2 – 5 years: 2.5 ml once daily
- Children 6 - 11 years of age 5 ml once day
- In adults and adolescents (12 years of age and over): 10 ml once a day

Hypersensitivity to the active substance, to any of the excipients, or to Loratadine
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not used during pregnancy and lactation
